TANGO WALTZES INTO GRADE 2 GLORY!
Mon, Jan 26, 2015
INTENSE TANGO won on her second time over hurdles at Catterick in a Juvenile maiden and then took the massive leap upto Grade 2 class against more experienced rivals and Irish raiders at Doncaster on Saturday where she breezed to the lead over the last and stamped her authority as she drew clear. All connections were delighted and she may now head to Aintree. She has really taken to hurdling and put up a near perfect jumping performance under Brian Hughes.
We kindly thank race sponsors http://www.olbg.com

MEDIA HYPE coming back after a long break put up a solid performance in defeat to finish second at Wolverhampton under Martin Harley, he isn't getting any younger but remains to have ability and should be getting his head back infront soon.

REVE DE NUIT a Southwell specialist was upped in Grade from Claiming class to a class 3 handicap and ran a very nice race to finish third only beat just over one length. Our apprentice Joey Haynes seems to get a good tune out of him and he has never ran a bad race at Southwell.

OUR LAST RUNNER OF 2014 WAS A WINNER!
Tue, Jan 6, 2015
We made our last runner of 2014 a winner when RITA'S BOY took the two year old sprint at Southwell, he ran again on the 4th January to finish second. He has good form there and seems to relish the surface!

REVE DE NUIT also a Southwell specialist got notched off his winning role when finishing second on New Years day he has had a few quick races and we hope he will be back to winning ways when he returns there in a few weeks.

MIAMI GATOR the yard stick finished third on New Years day, he is probably better on turf but has won on the allweather.

We have a few more ready to run on the Allweather this month and plenty coming back in from there winter breaks to start getting fit again.

YEARLINGS COMING ALONG NICELY...
Wed, Dec 17, 2014
It has been relatively quiet this month with runners as we have wound down and concentrated on the numerous yearlings we have in the yard which are now ridden away and coming along nicely. However the few runners we have had have ran nice races.

INTENSE TANGO making her debut over hurdles under jockey Brian Hughes ran a blinder to finish second only beat a length. She was one of the only debutantes running against previous winners and more experienced rivals in a Listed event at Aintree but she showed her class by travelling well throughout and bar one or two minor jumping errors put up a strong performance in defeat. We were delighted for new owners Paul & Jo Gaffney who purchased her at the end of the flat season.

REVE DE NUIT one of the old favourites in the yard made it another two wins at his beloved Southwell when winning his last two starts there in claiming events both times pulling clear by numerous lengths to score easily.
