CASCADIA has been running well this year..
Mon, Mar 17, 2014
CASCADIA has been running well this year and managed to pick up another win at Southwell under Rob Fitzpatrick she then ran five days later again at Southwell this time in a seller and was narrowly defeated and subsequently claimed.

JAEGER TRAIN got off the mark at Southwell after running placed in his only three previous starts. He strode clear ears pricked cruising clear from the rest of the field under Danny Tudhope. We were delighted to get a winner for Sunderland FC who own him.

ISHIKAWA ran another solid race after his return from St Moritz to finish 3rd in a competitive handicap at Wolverhampton, he is off a career high mark at present.

February ends with 2 winners, 8 seconds & 5 thirds!
Sat, Mar 1, 2014
We rounded February off with two winners, eight seconds & five thirds! Out of 21 runners we only had three horses finish out of the first four unfortunately we had quite a few unlucky seconds beat in photo finishes.

RIVELLINO ran another cracking race to be beat a head in the Listed contest at Lingfield, he is an improving horse and will now head to the big meeting on Good Friday at Lingfield where we hope he can get his head back in front!

EVA CLARE made it a memorable day for her owners Mount Racing clubas she stuck on well under a positive ride from Ben Curtis to win on only her second start having finished second first time out. She didnt run as a two year old because of set backs but she proved worth the wait and her patient owners were rewarded.

STEPPING AHEAD ran another solid race in defeat he hasnt been able to get his way infront in his two all weather runs but has still battled on were looking forward to a turf campaign with him this season.

ISHIKAWA coming back from his trip to St Moritz was just collared on the line and beaten a head under a good ride from our apprentice Rob Fitzpatrick. Unfortunately the trip to St Moritz didn't prove successful as the racing was called off two out of three times as the track was unsuitable but Ishikawa came back in good form and is fit and ready for the season ahead.

BALTIC FIRE ran well in third place on his first run back at Kempton after meeting abit if trouble in running under Joey Haynes.

Seven runners in the winners enclosure!
Mon, Feb 10, 2014
So far we have had seven runners in February all of which have been in the winners enclosure.

RIVELLINO ran a blinder to swoop down the outside and take the class 2 sprint at Lingfield on Saturday under a great ride from Danny Tudhope. He is a horse we have always thought a lot of and were delighted to see him reaching his potential for long time owners of ours Colin & Melba Bryce.

EVA CLARE was second on her debut in the colours of Mount Racing club, she had a few set backs last year resulting in her delayed debut but the patience of her owners paid off when she came in second at Wolverhampton.

ROMANTIC BLISS also ran a good race on her first run back as a three year old, she has wintered well and we are hoping to pick a race up with her before she goes off to the sales in Ascot.

CASCADIA has to be one of the most unlucky horses we have here, she got completely wiped out of the race and almost brought to a standstill by another horse on the first bend at Wolverhampton loosing her around 15 lengths with the rest of the field she continued on and got upto finish a game second without a doubt if that had not of happened she would have won. Cascadia is also in at Ascot sales this month.

It has definitely been a case of seconditious with some close finishes another was HOT RIGHT NOW who came off second best in the fillies handicap at Southwell on Sunday under yard apprentice Rob J Fitzpatrick.
HOT RIGHT NOW bounced back to form..
Mon, Feb 3, 2014
HOT RIGHT NOW bounced back to form under a good front running ride from our apprentice Rob Fitzpatrick she is bound to come on from the run and we are hoping there is more to come from her in the near future.

TRUANCY battled back hard to take second in a competitive three year old only handicap at Kempton under Joey Haynes, having made the running he looked like getting swallowed up in the home straight but he stuck to his guns to get back up close home to take second.

MIAMI GATOR a former Carlisle Bell winner managed to get his head back infront at Kempton, in his younger years he was a model of consistency and it was nice to see the old yard stick get back in the winners enclosure.

WITCHY WOMAN was very unlucky to just get touched off for the second time in a fortnight she was getting back up in every stride but the winning post just came a few strides too soon for her.
