Another good week with 3 winners...
Mon, Sept 12, 2016
Another good week with three winners and four placed horses starting with LOST AT SEA at Doncaster in the colours of Zorka Wentworth defied greenness under Joey Haynes to swoop through to beat more experienced and talented rivals in the Novice event over six furlongs.

MUTAHAADY made it an across the card double on the day to take the nursery at Carlisle half an hour later. Mutahaady looks a cheap purchase from Doncaster horse in training sale having been bought for only £6500 out of Richard Hannon's yard he will hopefully progress again.

UNDISCOVERED ANGEL & KURAKA both managed second place also at Carlisle on both their debuts.

MARSH PRIDE having only her second run for us made it a winning one when taking the feature race at Musselburgh, her delighted owner John Dance unfortunately didn't make it but was thrilled none the less with her being one of his favourites. She will now look to head back there in a couple of weeks time.

INTENSE TANGO who has been in tremendous form since being fitted with a tongue tie and partnered up with Clifford Lee managed third place in the very competitive premier handicap at Leopardstown on Champions weekend. We couldn't be happier with her current form and should lead her into the jumps season in good heart.

SUPER SATURDAY - Double on the Day!
Tue, Sept 6, 2016
The pouring rain didn't dampen our weekend as we had an amazing day on Saturday with our stable star QUIET REFLECTION romping home by 2 Lengths to win the Sprint Cup Group 1 at Haydock under Dougie Costello. We couldn't be more proud of the three year old filly who took on her elders and showed just how much ability she has when beating them with an effortless performance.

Her work rider and groom who is also our stable apprentice usually is there to lead her up but he had a ride on GEORGIAN BAY in the London Mile at Kempton and nearly made it a red letter day when being caught close home to finish a brilliant second in the race he won last year.

Our other stable apprentice Clifford Lee has had a great time of it riding his first double when partnering the second leg of it on LORD BEN STACK a huge gelding by Dylan Thomas who has been unlucky in running this year and was allowed a soft lead under Lee to stride clear by 2 Lengths in the mile and a quarter class 3 handicap. It was a lovely ride and the horse clearly enjoyed getting his head back in front.

Lee then went onto win the following day on INTENSE TANGO in the stayers race giving yet another well judged front running ride to hold on by a nose after kicking clear up the straight. INTENSE TANGO has thrived since fitting a tongue strap and we are delighted to see the useful mare back in form before her winter jumps campaign.

UPGRADE ran a much improved second race finishing second to a useful looking two year old of Hugo Palmers, he clearly put the experience at York to good use and was much more on the ball on his second start at Haydock.

PARNASSIAN follows up his impressive debut with another win
Wed, Aug 31, 2016

PARNASSIAN follows up his impressive debut with another win this time at Carlisle on turf under Clifford Lee, he looks set to head to the Curragh to run in The Tattersalls Ireland sales race on Irish Champions weekend.

MICOLYS finished a games second at Newcastle and then also went onto finish second only beat a head in France and subsequently got claimed.

INTENSE TANGO back to form with some good efforts this flat season managed to get her head infront once again under a fine ride from Clifford Lee to take the stayers feature race at Musselburgh.

MALLYMKUN under Jordan Vaughan got a great run up the inside at Wolverhampton to make it two wins for her there whilst proud owner/breeder Ray Bailey was there to cheer her home.

SIR VIKTOR dropped back to five furlongs at Beverly got his head infront under Dougie Costello.

APRES MIDI broke her maiden at Hamilton in good style whilst drawing clear of her rivals under a hands and heels ride, the well bred daughter of champion sire Galileo is growing and improving all the time and we expect her to keep progressing.

LADY CLAIR enjoyed the sharp turns of Chester and got back to winning ways when taking the sprint there under Joey Haynes, she was a good two year old for David Barron and we are pleased to get her back to form now as a three year old.

THIRD ORDER broke his maiden tag on the third time of asking beating of Godolphins short priced favourite under a positive ride from Ben Curtis this son of Hatrick has progressed with each run.

YEEOOW currently our oldest horse in training got his head back infront after some galant placed efforts at Goodwood under Joey Haynes, we have had him since a yearling and he is a yard favourite it is always nice to see the older ones keep there form.

LONDON PROTOCOL ran a great race...
Wed, Aug 3, 2016
LONDON PROTOCOL ran a great race at Deauville in France, he ran in a ultra competitive Listed event which was his first attempt in a black type grade race and finished third only beaten just over one length. He is a French bred horse so qualifies for the amazing French premiums they have on offer. RIVIERE ARGENTEE also French bred accompanied London Protocol to Deauville and also finished third in a fillies conditions race after previously winning her maiden at Carlisle.

FIDELMA MOON ran another creditable race to finish second at Hamilton under her regular rider Jordan Vaughan who always gets a good tune out of her. Unfortunately she hung across the track which cost her the win but she has a consistent string of placed and win form to her name and will now head to Sandown.

EDGED IN BLUE finished third on her second start at Ripon, she didn't look to handle the undulating track so we were pleased with her performance.
