Directions
Traveling north or south on the A1, leave at junction sign posted North Allerton and
Bedale (services / McDonalds).
Follow the signs for Bedale and through Bedale follow the signs for Leyburn.
Continue for 12 miles into Leyburn. At the Market Square T junction in
Leyburn, turn left and proceed down the hill towards Wensley.
Travel through Wensley ignoring signs for Middleham, and after half a mile
turn left following signs for Carlton and Coverdale.
Proceed up the hill for one mile and the entrance to Spigot Lodge can be
found on the right.
