DOUBLE OF THE DAY!

The team took 8 runners to Southwell on Tuesday where two came out on top in both their respective races. Firstly Absolutio made all from the front and ran on strongly under pressure from now professional jockey Clifford Lee. On only his 4th start and the hood added, it was great to break his maiden for owners S P C Woods. Massive well done to Justin and Matt who ride him everyday.

Next came the Southwell specialist Angel Palanas under 7lb claimer Johnny Fisher. Having won last time out here it was great to see him win again, where making all and quickening clear of the 13 strong field to win by 3 3/4 lengths. Well done to owners Mark Bates and Mrs E Burke along with Louise who rides him everyday and Alice who looks after him!
