Patient owners John & Jess Dance who have allowed us to take our time with Hareem Queen, the daughter of Dark Angel, were rewarded with a gutsy late finish to gain a Listed win. Hareem Queen, who when she retires will join John and Jess Dance's strong group of brood mares, was having her first crack at black type and the win is very valuable to her good pedigree when she goes to the paddocks. Ridden by PJ Mcdonald she didnt travel all that well down the hill at Lingfield but once around the bend and levelled up she showed a great turn of foot to pass nearly the whole field to win. It was her first time round a bend on a faster surface so many factors were an unknown. She will now hopefully be aimed at a Listed on the turf.
